Goodbye to You

Someone you love has recently died. They are, or were, very close to you. You loved them, even if your lovewasn’t reciprocated, or was complicated by a difficult relationship.

Your grief is very new and sharp– perhaps they died a few days or even a week ago. The rituals of death–funerals, wakes, shiva– have not been completed yet. Nonetheless, you are going on a journey, picking up the fragments of their life, and meeting other people who knew them and maybe loved them.

Journey to Goodbye is a solo journaling game about grief and reconciliation, played out over 15 journal entries; 14 from tarot-driven writing prompts, and a final, fifteenth entry, that ends the game.

In this game, you will explore a journey of saying goodbye to someone you love, by saying hello to some of the people who knew and maybe loved them, too.
